A New Chapter

I have never been a strong writer, yet I keep finding solace in writing through out my life. Don't ask me why I keep placing my hands on a keyboard to share my thoughts on life. I think the belief that I can share something that brings me joy or even connects with people makes me keep coming back. With that being said I am starting a new chapter of my life. I will be getting married this coming year and working my way through my 30s with passion and vigor...and maybe a few tears. Regardless I have blogged at all points of my life. I started blogging as I journeyed from high school into college, I kept it up for a while and even tried my hand at being a teacher blogger. I realized with that last venture that their was just too much pressure, mainly the pressure I put on myself to show all the amazing things that are possible in the classroom. I spent so much time creating things, writing about it, and connecting with other educators online that I lost myself in the process. The focus and pressure I put on myself was ridiculous and made me step away from blogging, mainly because I wasn't having fun any more. It became less about what I love and more about this high standard I set for myself to produce something that other teachers would love to read. I have been looking into starting up a blog again for a few years but I wanted it to be something that I love. Something that I want to do, that isn't full of pressure but passion, something that I would be excited to do again.

Here we are! Welcome to the New Chapter! I am excited to share my book reviews with you and share my nerdy love of books! This is me taking a chance and sharing something I love so I am excited to share my journey and write my opinions along the way. This new chapter is what I make of it and don't be surprised if in all these reviews my life comes to life. I love books because they are escapes, but often times I pick up books I can relate to or I can learn from too. My life is changing and you will hear it through the books I read. Thanks for coming with me on this journey and lets turn the page together onto something new!
